It is our belief that nutrition is an essential part of any training plan, therefore every Duchy Coaching athlete will receive nutrition advice from Executive Coach Chris Opie as part of their weekly training plan. Whether you are trying to lose weight for a competition, or simply trying to improve the quality of your diet, we are here to offer straightforward nutrition advice. 

Chris’ qualifications include: an Advanced Diploma in Sports Nutrition, a Diploma in Sports & Exercise Nutrition and a Diploma in Child Nutrition

How we can help you

  • General nutrition advice, including calorie intake and macro nutrition goals: this will increase your performance on the bike, reduce the risk of illness and ensure you are recovering effectively
  • Let us help you with your weekly shopping list: tell us where you shop and we will recommend certain items to consider adding to your basket. We can also suggest healthy recipe ideas using these items!
  • Specific competition advice: we will guide you through what to eat before, during and after your competition, so that you can get the absolute best out of yourself
  • How to achieve sensible and sustainable weight loss: let us help you achieve your target weight without the stress of any extreme changes to your diet
